The experimental data are listed in the tables below. Notes at the end of each one define the tabulated quantities, and identify the sources of the measurements.

A new study of the heat capacity of pure water at very low temperature has been made by Murphy and Koop (2005) since the work of Clegg and Brimblecombe (1995):
